EDUCATIONAL VISIT TO FORENSIC DEPARTMENT, HCTM

On 24TH April 2019, the fourth year Bachelor of Laws and Shariah (SMUS) program which consist 74 students who are currently un
dertaking the core subject of Law of Evidence has gone for educational visit to Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz UKM (HCTM). Formerly known as Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (HUKM), it is one of the four university hospitals in Malaysia. It is located in Bandar Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur. The educational visit is part of the teaching process for the Law of Evidence subject under the supervision of Dr. Muzaffar Syah Mallow where students are being exposed with many aspect of forensic evidence collections and procedures matters particularly in cases involving physical assaults, motor vehicle accidents, sexual offences, child abuse, domestic violence, poisoning, drug abuse, suicide, murder and others. The educational visit has exposed the students with practical aspect of evidence and procedures which has been learned under Evidence Act 1950 [Act 56] and Criminal Procedure Code [Act 593].
