Dr. Farhana is a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Shariah and Law, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM). She graduated from University of Mu’tah, Jordan for her bachelor’s degree in Shariah in 2009. She later obtained a master’s degree in Sharia in 2012 from University of Malaya (UM). In the year 2016, she was awarded a doctor of philosophy in economics of waqf by the University of Malaya (UM). Her research interests are related to Waqf (Islamic Endowment), Economics of Waqf, Islamic Economics and Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence. Dr. Farhana has published several articles in scholarly journals and presented papers in both national and international conferences. She has published books with well-known publishers titled “Wakaf Tunai dalam Pembangunan Ekonomi Masyarakat Islam” (DBP, 2017) and “Pembiayaan Pembangunan Negara Menerusi Wakaf” (UMPress, 2018).
