JESSUP MOOTING COMPETITION (NATIONAL ROUND) 2018

FSU mooting club had sent their mooting team for this year Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition 2018 (National Round). The competition was organized from 23 until 25 February 2018 (Friday until Sunday) at Faculty of Laws, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Bangi, Selangor. Jessup mooting competition is one of the world's largest moot court competition, with participants from over 645 law schools in 95 countries. The competition is a simulation of a fictional dispute between countries before the International Court of Justice (ICJ), the judicial organ of the United Nations (UN). One team is allowed to participate from every eligible school. FSU has been one of the active participants for the competition in the country. Join teams will prepare oral and written pleadings arguing both the applicant and respondent positions of the case. The competition able to exposed the students with all essential skills needed to become legal practitioner as well as having the opportunity to exchange knowledge between their peers from other law schools and developing new ideas through research and competition.
