ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION ON INTERNATIONAL LAW IN FSU

On 21 September 2017, a roundtable discussion on various issues under International Law was succesfully organized in FSU. The speakers and topics of the presentations are as follows: 1. "From Siam and Pattani to Thailand and Pattani: Love- Hate Relationship" delivered by Dr. Chaiwat Meesanthan. 2. "The Judicial Commission of Republic Indonesia" delivered by Mr. Tabah Sulistyo. 3. "Ratification or Accession to the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (ICC) by non-State Parties in Southeast Asia: Challenges and Prospects" delivered by Mr. Fareed Hassan, 4. "The Rohingya: Unravelling the untold suffering from the historical and international law contexts" delivered by Dr. Rodziana Razali. 5. "Transnational Domestic Labour Migration in Southeast Asia: Charging for better protection?" delivered by Dr. Linda A. Lumayag. The roundtable discussion was part of 6 days International Law Course that being organized by the faculty academic member Dr. Hazmi Rusli from 20 until 26 September 2017 covering various aspects of international law, a roundtable discussion, a USIM-UiTM collaboration visit, and plenty of sightseeing opportunities of Kuala Lumpur.
